Spiritual meaning of breast milk

I thought it might be debate-worthy!

Milk is very special for humans - no milk no love ! That is an absolute rule for all mothers and a most direct and precise feedback for their true spiritual love toward their baby. The flow of milk is directly proportional to the flow of love.

Ego is the only cause for lack of breast milk in mothers

If a mother has any kind of disorders of her breast-milk-production it always is a proof of disorder in loving the baby. Absence of milk means absence of love.

Edited to divide this into two posts - since the ideas presented are unrelated and don't really belong in the same post.

Absence of milk means absence of love.

This sums up my feelings well:

Oh, dear, this sounds like the sort of thing militant FF'ers are always accusing us saying.

As for incarnation, if I am understanding correctly, being breastfed helps complete the transmigration of the soul into the new body. Is that it? Interesting idea (if you even believ in reincarnation in the first place.)

I do want to clarify, these 2 sites seem to be unrelated to each other. So, the association of bf with incarnation is not related to the idea that lack of bm means lack of love.

Yes, totally unrelated. Just two thoughts on breast milk that I had not come across before. Perhaps they should not have been combined into one post? What do you think?

Yes, it's a pretty strong statement! Not sure what they think they are basing it on??

That's what I was getting from it, though I didn't feel it was confined to the belief in reincarnation only.

I was thinking on this and decided to divide the posts into two separate posts, since the thoughts present from each site are different. Hope that isn't too confusing for those just treading the thread now.

The second thread is called:

~~I know it was your intention for a debate to ensue,~~

Whatever works! Funny, debate, horror, disdain - I just like to get people talking! :D

Sometimes people who consider themselves very spiritual has some strange ideas. I had a "spiritual guru" tell me that all my miscarriages was because I was rejecting motherhood -really tore me up at the time. But now I can laugh about it! ;)

Or, here's a thought. Lack of love is obviously not the only cause for lack of milk, but... could it be one possible cause? Negative emotions having a psychosomatic effect?

Interesting. I can see many having a problem with that thought.

I guess it could happen, but it wouldn't be the rule. There are some legitimate physical reasons why a mother might have milk supply issues that have nothing to do with her feelings about the baby, and there are women who have really negative thoughts and feelings but they still have milk.
