OK, I don't think anyone really denies that it is ultimately every mom's decision.

FWIW, I do a kick-butt explanation of NNT and NNH (number needed to treat and number needed to harm) which is helpful in determining just how clinically significant something is ;)

Ok, good. You are hired. My expertise lies in rate of crimes/deviance and what leads/predicts such behavior...so we definitely need someone on the clinical side. We can have a whole section for the medically-inclined!

""BFing would save more $$ from our 1 FT income, but it does not pose a financial issue for us."

Except that it would have put your family into a financial rut that you wanted to avoid.""""

Maybe it was the sitting all day that would have caused the rut.

Hmm.

indeed.

"JTC- the first phrase mentioning this was post #124 (not mine, i just responded to it)::

""""Ummm...because mom is feeding HIS child? Maybe your husband is different and would resent if you JUST SAT AROUND BFing while he picked up the slack around the house. """""

Becky can speak for herself, but (you know there's a but, lol) here is what she was responding to(you said it, btw):

"Ummm, so how is this interchanging BFing role??? Why should dad go and vacuum, do laundry etc. while mom BFs? that is not sharing equal role. it is just passing dad off on other roles while mom BFs.

Honestly - i'd rather help 50/50 in household chores as well as take care of child."

You didn't say 'sit around all day' there, but the notion of 'passing off' other things onto dad, as though mom isn't doing anything, is pretty crappy.

Yes.

"... yes there are circles being drawn, but I'm pretty sure you are the artist here...."

And yes.

Thank you
