Ok, we need to get back to debating - so I typed "formula is evil" into Google & found most were saying,

~*~ Catherine, mom to three grown men - Jason, Michael & Joshua and Granma to Christopher & Leia.

For the FF babies, yes,

I also noticed that even in exclusively BF children, the gut flora is altered if Mom had a cesearean delivery.

"You know this? On what basis do you know my feelings?"

Okay, point taken. I know you are *SHOWING PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOR* in posts responding to posts responding to Lee.

More accurate?

"Ok so it would be correct for me to say all BF babies have guts sealed properly and all FF babies have improperly sealed guts?"

AFAIK, yes.

I think that debate belongs on the politics board ;)

Didn't say that.

Stop taking it so personally! So many doctors and patients are uninformed about the risks of breastfeeding and taking medication (I was certainly one of them) that a line of inquiry is going to be pursued if you post about it on the debate board. It's not a comment on your intelligence or your knowledge. No one is berating you. In fact, quite a few posters have complimented you on being so informed. The fact is, though, most people aren't.

When you are debating and you agree with someone else and take the opposite view against another poster - is that "showing protective behavior"? No, I disagree with your assessment and believe you are misreading something. To protect would be to guard or shield - Lee needs neither as you can well see for yourself. You could say I am defending her in some posts, but this is a debate board and we are all taking sides aren't we?
