I was just reading an article "Cancer risk for non-breastfeeding moms", and it said:
"African-American women who do not breastfeed their babies face a higher risk of getting an aggressive form of breast cancer than their counterparts who nurse, according a US study.
The analysis found that women who had two or more children faced a 50 percent increased risk of hormone receptor-negative breast cancer, one of the toughest kinds to treat.
But this higher risk was only present in women who did not breastfeed their children."
and it makes me wonder why preventing a FFing mom's guilt is more important than my getting the information I need to help prevent breast cancer?
Why is a FFIng mom's fear of feeling guilty more important than my getting the information and support I need to successfully BF my highly allergic children?
Why a FFing mom's desire not to hear about "how wonderful BFing is" more important than my desire to feed my baby the biological norm?
