was getting harrassed for it, or would you just MYOB? After reading about the lady on the airplane, and seeing others post on other boards, where they have been harrassed &/or asked to leave establishments because they were BFIP, I was curious as to why someone wouldn't help these people out. I have never witnessed this type of incident, but I would like to think that if I saw some woman trying to feed her child being treated so poorly that I would step up & use the opportunity to inform/educate the confronter. I've heard about so many women who end up in tears and I think, "I wish I'd been there."

Absolutely! I also make an effort to give women positive reinforcement if they are bfip. One woman recently was very grateful for the positive reinforcement. In the course of our conversation she ended up telling me how disgusting her husband's family thinks bfip is.

No question! & i always try to smile at someone who is BFIP. I think it is not only a beautiful thing to witness, but a very postive role model for others. R~
