There is a story that is going around about a man who tried unsuccessful to induce lactation of what you can find a link to one news article on his attempt in the newsstand section of this board. While we know that it's possible for men to lactate and even have documented cases, primarily in third-world countries of it occurring, we have never seen a documented case of any man in modern times successfully inducing lactation intentionally. But what if your husband found a way to do it actaully brought in enough milk to either partially or fully BF a baby would you:

1. ...Be comfortable allowing him to BF part time say instead of giving bottles of expressed EBM (either yours or his)?

2. ...Be comfortable allowing him to BF part time if you had trouble exclusively BF'ing or producing enough milk say due to medical reasons?

3. ...Be comfortable allowing him exclusively BF'ing if you couldn't BF for medical reasons, assuming you could bottle feed EBM for at least some feeds?

4. ..Be

Honestly, I don't think I'd be comfortable with my husband developing boobies.

If my DH was lactating, I would be OK with him BF'ing occasionally or when he was watching to baby while I was out.

2. ...Be comfortable allowing him to BF part time if you had trouble exclusively BF'ing or producing enough milk say due to medical reasons?

I would be OK with him helping supplement for any low supply I had or any other reason I couldn't exclusively BF.

3. ...Be comfortable allowing him exclusively BF'ing if you couln't BF for medical reasons, assuming you could bottle feed EBM for at least some feeds?

This is a tough one. I guess if I couldn't BF at all then assuming I could do a number of the feeds via a bottle of his

I'd say yes to 1-7.
