I admit the not being harmed is a stretch, but it depends on how you define harm. Is an ear infection harm? To some on this board it might be but then again over 50% of bf'd babies can have ear infections too. She didn't lie about their being differences, she said they were minute and if you are talking to a person who you know their family history and a bit about their lifestyle, I personally don't see the risks as being huge. Minute is a characterization and someone else might characterize it differently, it's debatable but neither are a lie. I'd disagree with the characterization of the risks being huge more than them being minute.
I won't go into it too much but I was in the NICU when a set of twin boys were circ'd and I quickly changed my mind after that. No interest in debating that issue though - I know where my mind is and I am not too concerned with the other side. I like the debates where I can see both sides.
LOL, even my relatives can't get an easy Hebrew pronunciation (it's a plural so if you know Hebrew at all, it's obvious how it's pronounced), no way people would figure out Canaan in Hebrew!

I've been deliberately avoiding that board. The circ threads on my EC got so nasty that three of them, I think, were shut down or deleted.
Although in retrospect, the debate boards tend to be much less nasty than the EC's, particularly in the 1T.
Have I wasted enough time today?

I agree, but you can't compare one bf'd baby to one ff'd baby

P&PT's (and two colors of baby dust!) are on their way to you. :O)
What, do I need to crack a whip or something? Go write that paper!
Did you finish your chocolate? ;O)
"I suppose I just assume if a mom choose FF that was in the best interests of her baby, unless she tells me it was not."
And how many people do you know who would readily admit to that, even if they believed it to be true themselves?
