I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Essure (the permanent birth control procedure done in the Dr's office) and if you have any thoughts / advice to offer.

DH and I are seriously considering doing something permanent.

I would say, just be REALLY sure you are done before doing Essure. If there's even a chance you might want another, I'd stick w/ Mirena since you like it. I've just seen the women struggling w/ reversals on the TTC boards, and Essure is even less reversible than a regular tubal.

If you really are 1000% sure, then I think it is potentially a good option. Carrie had one but had some sort of issue. I'm sure she'll weigh in on fb.
