Federico, it sickens me beyond words. And the massive public comment that follows the article shows almost universal disgust.

I do hope this will influence the San Francisco ballot. If the ban is passed it may finally kick-start a nationwide review.

The blindness here with regards to circumcision is atrocious. The human ability to simultaneously and wholeheartedly hold two absolutely contradictory thoughts never stops to amaze me.

This is what drives me crazy too. The lack of logical thought is astounding.

One thing I particularly remember is the black churches in my city refusing to get involved in fighting the disease.

To both you and Frank... thank you for your replies. I asked the question because I am forever trying to understand why the USA still circumcises its boys. You have given some answers which I will address, but not now.
