(Christopher) "Precisely. It has concerned me for long enough that our board name is not only a relic of the past, but may even be actively turning parents away."

Tiger,

A long way back on this thread I suggested this for a title:

"The Normal Boy and Some of His Abnormalities... or something similar which will stress that every boy is born with a normal penis as his birthright, but may be subject to opposing views which discuss abnormalities as a valid reason to circumcise. The subject is vast. Psychological impact - parent and child - is immeasurable."

It could be too long a heading (but not if QCRIB is anything to go by). It might not have the impact to encourage visitors - but If I saw a title like this I would be very intrigued and would click on it at a stroke to find out what it meant! It is a paraphrased title of a book I bought when I was a very young man, so may be out of copyright or very close. Plagiarism I do not intend, and would seek permission first.

'Skeptical about Circumcision'. My first reaction was to recoil at the spelling of 'Sceptical' Not fair of me, I'm English and this is an American website! But I do think it needs some reference to males specifically and an implication of 'family' relevance. Bringing up boys, intact or circumcised, with sisters who will obviously be a as nature made them, may be an important factor.

“I was incredibly surprised to see zero traffic on the circ, and minimal on the foreskin.

An apt illustration, Tiger - or should I say Roslin? :smileywink:

So... a name for a new forum to put to Jen:

I have commented on your first suggestion which we could develop: e.g.. 'Nurturing our Little Men but Skeptical about Circumcision'. (Changing 'but' to 'and' if it fits our purpose better.)

Now thinking on the fly....

'Bringing Up Boys, Intact and Circumcised'

'Coping with Sisters and their Intact Brothers' (If this is ever an issue.)

Or another thought for a title which has just struck me - it's a play on what we all know little boys are made of...

'Slugs and Snails and Foreskin Tales'

It's important the name we choose catches the eye in the first place, then strikes a chord in the life of the reader, prompting a wish to discover more.

Some other ideas to consider

A New Village – Parenting intact boys when views on circumcision are rapidly changing. A place to ask questions and share Parenting information ….

I will answer your query about PMs here.

When you arrive at the opening page of Circumcision Debate, you will see a Quick Links section on the right. One of the links is My Private Messages (x unread). Just click on the link, it's as easy as that.
