Judge Strikes Circumcision Ban From SF Ballot

A judge struck the proposed circumcision ban from the San Francisco's November ballot, because it attempts to regulate a medical procedure: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43930656/ns/health-kids_and_parenting/

Do you think the judges ruling will stop this from moving forward in the future?

Let's hope so, but to us Brits, litigation seems to take some strange turns in the US - trouble is, we follow you.

Anyway it's a blow for common sense in this issue. Thanks for posting the link melissa. I hope it draws more approving comments

I just came axcross an excellent report commenting on this (see link to full article below)

Every now and then you encounter some well expressed common sense and of such irrefutable logic you feel constrained to give it a wider audience. For those who don't have time to read the full article I reproduce two paragraphs which have a relevance beyond this news story:

"As study after study shows the benefit of circumcision throughout the male life span, one has to wonder what motivates supporters of this extreme initiative.
