I'm not sure what the answer is to that, I just know that we were told to put vaseline on it at all diaper changes until it was healed. You raise an interesting question though.

WOW, very good questions but unfortunately, infant circumcision isn't so cut and dry (the puns on this board are too much! :P). I can really only speak from my point of view and my experiences with my community of friends and family. And most people I know don't have any experience with infant forskin. You say you got circ'd as an adult, so you knew your forskin, inside and out and therefore the after care must have seemed obvious. But coming from people that don't have a real relationship with forskin, it isn't obvious at all.
