New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress in 2011 after a sexting scandal, admitted Tuesday that his Internet shenanigans didn’t stop when he stepped down in disgrace.

Hours after a gossip website published raunchy texts and explicit photos it said were from 2012, Weiner held an extraordinary press conference — accompanied by his wife Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton — to apologize and ask voters for a second chance.

"Some of these things happened before my resignation. Some of them happened after," Weiner said without providing any specifics.

Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, has made it very clear that she's standing by her man. Would you be able to do the same thing?

Never! I'd never stand by him and neither should anyone else. If we don't send a message loud and clear that we won't tolerate this then it will never stop.

I think it says alot about her.  If she was completely unaware before the first disclosure, she certainly was aware of his perversions afterwards.  He must have had to apologize and promise to change his behavior in order for her to "forgive" him including, what she described as "lots of therapy"...but then we find he continued to sext with young women, ostensibly behind her back, for at least another year...WHILE they were in counseling...AFTER he promised to fact, the evidence suggests that he only "stopped" when he decided to run for Mayor.

Now these new perversions have come out...she knows he lied...she knows the "therapy" was a waste...she knows he has poor judgment (and that's putting it kindly)...she knows he can't be trusted...and yet there she is, "standing by her man."  Absolutely pathetic.  They say she studied "at Hillary's knee" we know what she was learning.

What his wife does or does not do is her business. It is their personal business.

However, I would question the judgement of this man. His behaviour strikes me as being rather arrogant. I hope the voters of New York vote accordingly.

I think I'd be out of there, but I don't know. Marriage is complicated. One thing I am sure of, though, is that I never would have married such a narcissistic pig in the first place. And narcissism is pretty clear from the beginning, even if adultery is harder to see.
