Is your Facebook feed full of sonograms, baby photos, and graphic potty training descriptions? We’ve all seen it – the parents who feel that no detail about their kids’ lives is too small, or too gross, to share online.
Moms are power users online. What seems like oversharing to others might be their way of building community and getting actually useful information. Does everyone want to see stories about projectile vomit? Definitely not. But could some of the responses provide genuinely good info or happiness for the poster? For sure.

Where do you draw the line on what you share on Facebook? What type of posts on your feed drive you the most crazy?

Lol, I don't think I over-share but I do post things that "I" want to remember later on, months from now and years from now.. Lots of times I'll put out there little quotables from my kiddos and of course I post pictures, I am a proud mom who loves to upload pics of her family!
ETA the only thing I really can't stand are the notifications to join friends in "games". I know some who sit on that site all day playing games and I don't do that.
Being a very private person I don't overshare. Like someone else posted FB is supposed to be fun, some place to spend downtown.
The posts that drive me the most crazy are the ones I call where they post something and want you to repost it and then add something nasty at the end. " If you don't post this then I know you ....... ". Not something I would say to a friend.
Facebook that world that makes it so you have hundreds of friends you don't even know.
That said, I have one on there that posts funny sayings that always make me smile. Her personality comes thru every post and without facebook I might have missed that little ray of sunshine each day.
Happily I can say that I have not seen any postings about potty training or vomiting, but my group is a bit older, except for the occasional friend of my kids who added me to their friends list. I agree, I sure wouldn't want to hear about someones PMS but am gulty about complaining occasionally of hating hot flashes.
You should be able to go to your notifications and make it ignore invites to games. I know I did that somewhere, but I would have to google to remember how.
I don't mind the religious posts that some of my friends put out there, they are only sharing their happy belief with others. I don't share it, but don't begrudge them their happy feelings.
I guess I read more of the postings than post, and it is a way to keep up with some of my friends busy lives when I forget that I should keep in touch :D So I click the "like" and they know I am still around hahahaha
DD is 15 and she told me the other day that she wished she had as many friends there as others do, She's got about 280 friends and she knows every single one of them, I asked she think if those connected to thousands really know every one.... Adding that as annoying side!
I don't mind the religous posts but I will not get into some of the views that spill into debate or become insensitive to others views (not everybody there is catholic!), There were a lot of heavily debated posts around election time too, A lot of that was overdone! I don't mind some the picture ads or catchy phrases that are pulled from other sites, I don't hear a lot of the bragging or fabulous husband posts and of those I do read they are few and far between! Thanks about the game thing, I'll have to go into notifications and change that around if I can.
FB is like a second email and I check it daily now.
Are you tired of going office daily? Earn 60$ per hour working from home with Google! I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. Im using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Here is what I do, GoogleCash
