Technology Hurting Parenting?

Model and mom Peaches Geldof was out walking her 5-month-old son in a stroller, talking on her cell phone, when the stroller hit a bump -- then took a tumble. A photographer captured the whole debacle. Luckily, baby was just fine. But it's something to give pause to every mom who has ever talked or texted on a phone while parenting (so, every mom).

Technology -parenting fail: Has it happened to you?

Do you think that we, as parents, are too distracted by technology these days?  Is technology hurting our parenting?

Yeah - I'm not sure what's come of it.  I'll have to look into it.  It was a big deal when they first announced the crackdown, but I haven't heard any updates.  I guess it's fair, since drivers are liable for hitting pedestrians, that pedestrians do their best to stay out of the way of cars!

Yeah, I guess I wasn't thinking about people walking in front of cars. I was thinking more on the sidewalk or on a side street, but it does make complete sense. I see people walking and talking on their phones all the time. I don't think they give it much thought.
