Well, it gets muddier and muddier, eh?

from the article:
>>A majority of voters statewide believed Obama is not honest and trustworthy, and that he does not share their values.

And do they think Hillary IS honest and trustworthy? Are you kidding me? Maybe they have her confused w/ someone else...

>>Obama's favorable numbers in Oregon, on the other hand, reflected his strength with more-affluent, well-educated, secular voters in another critical region.

lol, are they insinuating that the people in KY who voted for HC are NOT affluen/well educated/secular? heh... If I were from KY I'd almost be insulted.

Does anyone know how many delegates HC lacks? The article stated Obama was "70 delegates shy of the finish line." I just like to see the numbers side by side.

I find it curious that they're going to FL again. I'll be very interested in hearing how things turn out after May 31...

Everyone says Obama is the clear front runner, yet all signs point to HC pulling this one out of her hat. I still say her and Bill are going to pull something anyway...wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I'm still undecided, but I would like to see Obama win the nom. And I hope that there's another candidate (is it Bob Barr?) that will run...

Interesting times...(already is) but could be more historical. I just hope it turns out in our favor in the long run. Can you imagine telling your kids THIS story?! :)

Doesn't Clinton have the Popular vote.. yet Obama has the Delegates?

why would the Supers be moving to elect him when she is more popular with the people? Am I wrong.. it's ok.. just tell me ;)

Does she had the popular vote for sure? I thought she did..but then I heard he did? Does she have it if you count Michican and Florida? I'm so confused on this LOL!

I think Senator Obama has the nomination wrapped up..unless the Clinton's have something they are saving as a June suprise at the convention.

Nope she doesn't have the popular vote unless you add in Michigan and Florida.

I fully expect some shady games to be played with Michigan and Florida, and it will absolutely play right into the hands of the GOPs campaign strategy.

Oh ok.. so she needs Florida and Michigan to gain the popularity! i thought I had read that Howard Dean was moving towards making a deal to seat the Florida delegates .. but i haven't heard anything lately. I guess he's just wanting to move on with Obama though I think there will be a lot of people feeling disenfranchised and vote for McCain.

oh yes.. probably a court move in her future

DH and I were talking about this last night...he says that there are good reasons to give the delegates, and thus the nom, to Hillary. (She's won the bigger states being one of them). And there are good reasons to give it to Obama, too....(he's not Hillary, lol) JK, dh didn't say that, I don't remember what he said, I made that up.

Anyway, I don't think you're wrong, it makes sense.

eta: I just remembered, dh's reasoning for an Obama nom. The promised riots at the DNC in Denver by Sharpton.

Now that doesn't sound like a good reason to give a guy a nom. But I guess this whole race has been about female vs black, kwim? THAT doesn't make sense...but it is what it is.

I agree with your DH on that one. I mean..I don't want either of the Democrats to win in November.
