This could get interesting. I wonder how long it will take, before Rove is called a RHINO? The GOP seems to be eating their own.

Link was provided already.

Comparing growth for all of Reagan's administration vs. some of Bush I and some of Clinton does not make sense. It is apples to apple-grapes.

Bottom line...during Reagan's full term vs. Clinton's full term, Reagan grew government and Clinton reduced government. See CBO historical report and link to NY times article.

Again...no racism...just facts. Tea partiers didn't care that the previous president was driving the country off a fiscal cliff, but they suddenly cared starting in late January 2009. It speaks for itself. The previous president dumped a $1.2+ trillion budget deficit on the new guy's lap, and the tea partiers blame the new president for being the recipient of that $1.2+ trillion "gift."

Ohhhh...so now it is domestic spending only? Sorry, all spending costs. Let's count it all, especially since we borrow to do it. By that "domestic spending" only parameter, we're missing a large portion of the budget. Someone truly concerned about the fiscal health of the country CARES about all spending and all growth.

In other words the government grew under Reagan but in ways that don't count to you.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

It's their go to line, when they can't defend their arguments. IMO....
