I have to say, this is ridiculous. Ins. companies are so greedy and so unfair. It seems even if you are young, you can be turned down for Health Ins.

I believe in insurance for catastrophic care. Not routine care--examples given. If you meet the established OOP costs for routine care--insurance kicks in. You know the way it used to be.

Side note: Four out of five? Sounds like family history to me unless all the kids are adopted.

It is probably none of my business, but if you are middle class, do you have credit cards, car payments, 2nd mortgage?

Do we buy their food? Their gas? Their auto insurance? Pay the cell phone bills?

So why do we have to pay for a routine doctor's visit? If they don't value their health enough to plan for these things why should anyone else be expected to foot the bill?

A good friend of mine, her DH was laid off several months ago, college educated, made really good money as an Architect.
