I have to say, this is ridiculous. Ins. companies are so greedy and so unfair. It seems even if you are young, you can be turned down for Health Ins.

Just because you have no insurance doesn't mean you have no health care.

>>Man, when are people going to quit whining and work for what they want in life. LIFE IS NOT FREE!<<

LOL! Let me guess? Never! It's human nature. It's a shame they can't direct that same energy towards being more productive. And you know--there are people of all income brackets who fall into that category--and many in all brackets who never whine.

Doctors, nurses, and other providers of medical services are all just in it for the money?

I kinda doubt it.

You posted a horror reaction at the thought of 50 million people being uninsured as if they don't have health care. They don't have health insurance. They have access to health care.

In fact I know several families who specifically chose to remain uninsured due to the monthly outlay. They simply paid for their medical needs themselves. They're part of that figure as well as many more like them. It's not like there are 50 million people rotting on the streets with chronic illnesses and nobody giving them care. So let's not exaggerate the problem. Let me guess, you're a politician in real life?

You mustn't understand fully what "insurance" is.

I disagree.

And I wasn't responding to her comment about something I said.

Anyone who thinks a private insurance being able to exclude "pre-existing" conditions is disgusting or inhumane does not understand the concept of "insurance". Or they're simply being ridiculous.

It's like demanding you be able to purchase insurance and be covered for the fire in your house last week. The fire that occurred prior to you having insurance. See how silly?

Do you feel that the Libertarian platform is open to a wide perspective on solutions?
