I do think they are being used to scare voters instead of educating them on the issues.

I'm just curious when you think the troops will be coming home if Obama is elected. He said during the first debate that he's going to increase troops in Afghanistan and attack Pakistan not to mention if we pull out of Iraq before they are strong enough for us to leave we'll probably have to go back to Iraq again later.

Iraq is stronger and is capable of running their own country. I know that our troops wont be home as soon as he gets in office howvever I think that the troops should be in Pakistan and Afghanistan thats the reason why we we went over there in the first place or was it for oil, or was it WMD?

I dunno. I think when either/both side(s) indulge in smear tactics, the big losers are the voters.

sorry sandy. turn the other cheek doesn't work in politics.

the other side is making sure the information presented is "fair and balanced." keep in mind: you never heard "Keating" from the Obama camp until "Ayers" was distorted a few too many times. it's the old line about glass houses: i guess one of McCain's eight fits that description.
