It is a bit odd, I suppose with that analogy we should not be trusted

I was thinking that same thing....

I am a solid liberal in every other area, but this issue is one I feel strongly about. (as you can probably tell!)

probably should not be driving cars either, since no humans are infallible.

If you take the time to go back and read what I wrote instead of jumping on the misinformation bandwagon, you will see that what I said was that since no one is perfect so the line for who can and who can't get a gun will always be arbitrary. No one can be trusted 100%. I don't see how that is even remotely controversial. The part where I said no one should have a gun is non-existent.

And, yes, it is exactly like driving. Guns are dangerous. Driving is dangerous. There will always be accidents (except apparently Cat who is self-proclaimed perfect). And, no, I didn't suggest that people shouldn't be allowed to drive cars just because it is dangerous.

No, I can't tell. Please explain. >>

My post wasn't to you. It was to a poster who has read a few of my posts regarding guns.

Another conservative that doesn't want to share their opinion, but is happy to constantly criticize others. I see a tread.
