Will you humor me?

How did you, as a liberal, come to have what seems to be a strong gun rights stance? Is it that you always had guns and were "raised with them"? Did you always have this belief, or did you grow towards it?

Just interested in the instances where things in life seem contradictory.

No problem.

I was raised in a large cattle company family, and guns were always present and used.

I was raised conservative, and "grew" into liberalism. ;)
