It is an interesting article, and those are some really tough questions. It's not surprising that Kerry has declined to do the interview, though. I believe to do that would be political suicide for him. As long as he keeps his answers vague, it's easy to claim he could do things better than Bush. O'Reilly has asked Kerry to come on as well (Bush went on) and has pretty much handed him the questions in advance, but Kerry has declined that opportunity also.

As I was reading the questions, it struck me how easy it is to frame questions (or statements) to suit your agenda by simply changing a word or two.

YUP - which is why I am more forgiving of a mispeak (for either candidate) or a stretch during the debates and such than I am in ads.
