I am beside myself with anger over the statement Obama made about treatable illnesses!

Wow! I am pretty sure the only people who are calling Sen. Obama "messiah" are those who find issue with people who agree with his policies (I presume, when you write, "people like you" you are referring to individuals who support Sen. Obama.)

I also find it so ironic how some grown folk (all across the US) who are rearing children to be non-name callers are such name callers. :-)

And Obama is a human being that has been beyond careful for 20 months in what he was saying.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

It was Calypso Louie Farrakhan who first called Obama the messiah. Calypso Louie doesn't disagree with Obama on anything. In fact Calypso Louie is a BIG Obama supporter. Based on this alone, I would hope others would rethink their support for Obama. If a nutcase like Calypso Louie supports Obama, what does it mean?

He generalized, and I seem to remember on this board that we are not allowed to generalize things, I get criticized everytime I accidentally generalize something, so Obama should not be allowed to either.

Obama's been posting on this board?

I frankly think that most people don't listen to Farrakhan nor do they care who he is supporting or what his opinion is regarding anything.

Every time you listen to someone speak, you are interpreting their words.
