I am beside myself with anger over the statement Obama made about treatable illnesses!

Do they happen to know where Hoffa is buried and who really shot Kennedy too?

"not all catholics are against abortion."

Sadly that is true.

And to the other poster who said she could understand not agreeing with the church "in light of the sex scandals" I find it difficult to equate the two but if it eases your conscience I guess that's your right.

Hmm - I seem to recall Jesus telling us not to judge one another. I therefore find it ironic that you are judging people who are pro-choice to be bad Catholics.

The Catholic church is also anti-war, so I guess all us Catholics cant vote for anyone now. I guess we should all just stay home on election day.

It's pretty presumptuous to judge other people, and question their religious beliefs. I use the word presumptuous because I cant say anything stronger without violating TOS. It is NOT your business to judge someone's religious beliefs. Disagree, yes, but your words have gone far beyond that.

I would never have an abortion, that doesnt mean I think I have the right to make that decision for everyone else. I also dont think making abortion illegal is the best way to stop them - certainly there were plenty of abortions in this country prior to Roe v Wade. I know many Catholic women who feel that way - you dont have the right to decide that we are bad Catholics for that.
