Thanks to all the ladies on here who get me thinking and searching, I decided to really find out about Bill Ayers.

Given the lie in his own statement, I find the rest needs to be taken with a grain of salt...

He says:

"I've never advocated terrorism, never participated in it, never defended it"

Given that the organization he was part of bombed civilian targets, robbed banks and killed cops, it's a bold-faced lie on his part.

Why should we believe anything else he says?

We agree, but not for the same reasons. He does not consider the bombs he planted as part of the weathermen "terrorism." I think most people would disagree. He considered the actions of the U.S. Government in Vietnam (and other places) terrorism. Many people would agree with him.

The fact that he doesn't consider Weatherman bombs to be terrorist acts, nor Weathermen killing cops and robbing banks to be terrorist acts shows that he's apparently got the same mind set he did "when Obama was 8".

Anyone who launches his political carreer in the living room of a terrorist at best lacks judgment, at worst espouses those views.

Even in a best case scenario, I don't want someone whose judgment is that flawed as President.

There are much worse lapses in judgment. There is, of course, no reason whatever to believe that Obama "espouses those views."

"It is frightening if Obama wins. "
You are frightened by your own innuendo.

To me this is not an issue.
