I'm particularly interested in this, starting just before minute 3 and to the end.

Is this common for him, to use politics (incl. MLK text), religion, and fear to sell products? ie. If God isn't put at the centre of the US, it will become awash in blood. And if you believe in God, consider buying gold from Goldline?

Of course Christians have a set of beliefs that they follow that they believe are correct. Don't most people believe in things that they think are correct. I don't know anyone, above the age of 12 that believes in things that they know or think

That's a fine reason not to attend. He is an opinion guy and if you don't care for his commentary, then I'd suspect that you wouldn't want to go hear him his speak..:)

That's terrible! I hope you avoid her like the plague.

I just don't understand why it is anybody's business what another person believes, and why people try to change other people's beliefs. I'm thinking that those who do the proselytizing wouldn't be thrilled to have someone else try to convert them to a different faith...

Reminds me of my Mormon BIL who had a Jehovah's Witness stop him in a parking lot and wanted to give him some of their literature to read. He said, sure, but let me give you something of mine to read as well. The JW asked him what it was and when BIL said it was the Book of Mormon, the JW acted shocked and said she couldn't read *that*.

I'm not sure since I have yet to be put into this position. My best guess would be discussing Christ, that He died for our sins and that I would love for the person to join me for just one Sunday to see what His love is really all about. I don't see myself mentioning hell, but I try and dwell on the positive IRL. :-)

That sounds like a good way to share your faith with someone...not pushy, not knocking on anyone's doors, and not telling them they are going to hell if they don't change their ways. :-)

You're not. I try to fly under the radar...don't ask, don't tell.
