yes i consider it my patriotic duty to pay my taxes and shut up about it.

I don't think that the issue is necessarily that we have to pay taxes, rather that they're suggesting that those with more money should have to pay more in taxes.

here's what i would like to see: a chart on the dispersion of wages. because i suspect the gap between your husband and his boss is huge. nothing against your husband, i just think salaries that executives decide to pay themselves is out of whack.

Gee.. the ratio went up by a factor of 5 during a democratic administration, and down by 30% during a republican administration.


I thought the democrats were supposed to be the friend of the little guy...


Plus, under Reagan it went up from 42 to 107 (an increase of 65) and under Clinton from 107 to 525 (an increase of 418).


I guess those who want to control executive pay should be electing Republicans!
