Can someone please tell me why the Libs are always screaming about "fairness" for everything, but then turn around and expect unfair taxes on the rich?

>>So, you'd rather have McCain tax your employer AND you on your health beenfits so you eventually will lose or be unable to afford health insurance.<<
LOL! With employer provided coverage currently given pre-tax we still have those without coverage and/or unable to afford health insurance. So what is your point?
In my state and in most others group coverage is far more expensive than individual coverage. To cover a family under a group plan with a modest deductible ($1,000 per person per year) it costs and employer about $1500 a month.
An individual family plan would cost the employee $500-$800 depending on the type of plan they chose.
Heck with the money the employer would save he could give the employees a lofty raise to cover their expenses and the employees could save on taxes as well.
For those employers who continued to provide coverage, I'd bet the costs would decrease but decrease or increase I really don't care all that much because I don't believe employers should be in the business of providing health insurance to their employees. We don't provide their auto insurance so why must their health coverage be tied to their job? It's a private matter and should remain so.
MONTANA MOM !
Take a chill pill there Knjess! LOL! Believe it or not most people want less government in their lives. They want to pay less in taxes. They don't believe in bilking the rich. Most people are fair minded. This just happens to be a more left playground. But it's not the norm.

Can you be more specific? What corporations, what wealthy people? What kind of breaks? Skyrocketing prices on what?
Are you talking oil? There are a lot of factors that come into play with regards to oil prices. Or maybe you mean something else?
It's not the same thing. We all pay those too. Not to mention many don't even pay the payroll tax as it's refunded with what's known as the Earned Income Credit.
And really, 40% of the United States is not poor but that's the number of zero filers we're approaching. It's a dangerous trend. Everyone should pay something. It would be unpatriotic otherwise. :-)
