Can someone please tell me why the Libs are always screaming about "fairness" for everything, but then turn around and expect unfair taxes on the rich?

President Bush's tax policy help stem off a recession and make the economic effects of 9/11 much less than they otherwise would have been. There was quite a bit of job growth based on his tax cutting actions:

It's not hard to find more.
Why is it not the same thing? Who makes up these rules?
If you make more that 102K you nolonger have to pay ssi, so you actually pay less payroll taxes by % than the working poor and middle class - sweet!
The EITC has been effective in encouraging single parents, particularly women, to obtain employment. Getting welfare queens to work is a good goal, right?
<40% of the United States is not poor but that's the number of zero filers we're approaching.>
Please provide the source of that number. TIA. It's hard to discuss when I don't know what that number comprises.
And 'm sure your equally outraged by this - http://www.reuters.com/article/bondsNews/idUSN1249465620080812 "The Government Accountability Office said 72 percent of all foreign corporations and about 57 percent of U.S. companies doing business in the United States paid no federal income taxes for at least one year between 1998 and 2005."

But they're paying more in other taxes, no?
Just curious b/c I wasn't aware they don't pay SSI - is that b/c they make enough that the government assumes they won't use SSI after retirement? Are they still able to receive it even if they didn't put any $$ into it b/c of their higher income?
Obama plans to cut taxes for middle-class families and small businesses giving 95 percent of us as much as $1,000 to compensate for gas and food costs.. He'll reward companies that create jobs here, especially for new energy options and renewed infrastructure construction, while McCain wants to continue Bush's policy of tax breaks for high-profit corporations.
Obama plans to decrease poverty and help restore the middle class by creating a relevant and equal educational system while raising teachers salaries, making college affordable, increasing the minimum wage and eliminating taxes for seniors making under $50,000.
Can Obama really be considered an elitist when he was raised by a single mom, went through the trials and errors of adolescence, learned from them, then chose to work as a community organizer instead of entering an elite law firm, which as president of the Harvard Law Review, he could easily have done?
Instead, he hit the streets to work with the people, knowing the potential that could be gained with opportunity. Ignore McCains' desperate advertisements and look at Obama's plan according to Obama.
Also ignore the failure of most of the programs he implemented as a community organizer? :)
HOW does he plan on doing these things? I've listened to him over and over again - while I agree with some of his "promises" - I'm still not sure HOW he plans on doing these things, unless it's to significantly raise taxes.
