Who are the terrorists , what do they look like, and where do they live?? Now, prove it! If someone upsets you do you just go up and bunch them in the face or better yet shot them? I am sure you try to come to a mutual agreement first. I think we confuse diplomacy with giving the terrorists whatever they want. The officers (military) have

There are people in this world that hate us for who we are, the freedoms we have and who we call God.

No amount of talking to certain people.. such as Amadenjidad is going to make that better. It's been proven that Iran has been fighting us in Iraq and sending weapons to Iraq.

The terrorists are like roaches.. scattered everywhere. You can't have diplomacy with Terrorists and I think Obama is naive to think that you can.

I don't know that anyone said we are definitly headed to Iran... I've seen some articles saying "yes" but others denying that fact.

Umm...maybe *I'm* the naive one, but "diplomacy" only works on sane, rational people who are willing to come to a common good. Diplomacy doesn't work with terrorists. Terrorists want what THEY want, and "negotiations" consist of getting everything on their list (including, just to remind you who we are dealing with, the destruction of Israel). You don't compromise with terrorists because only you will lose in the end. There is NO "give and take" with terrorists the likes of Hitler, Hussein, or Ahmadinejad.

Unless of course, one just wants the FACADE of diplomacy. Because sitting down and "talking" with terrorists will accomplish nothing but the appearance of diplomacy. Is that really any better?

"Diplomacy does not require sanity to be successful. "

As par for the course, you clipped what I actually said to make it fit your point. Well done.

Now, what I ACTUALLY WROTE was:" diplomacy only works on sane, rational people who are willing to come to a common good. Diplomacy doesn't work with terrorists."

When was it proven that there are terrorists in Iraq (can I see the article). The people fighting us in Iraq are directed to do so by their local Sheiks. Once the military leaders started
