Not Carrie and this has probably already been brought up. But, John Kerry said he was going to roll back the taxes to pre-Bush. Which means that the taxes will be RAISED, not lowered, not even the same. HIGHER.

Yeah well, I'll gladly give back my tax cut if it helps bring the troops home sooner and keep our borders safe.

I understand that the war wasn't sold on the points I mentioned, otherwise we would go around stamping out tyranny everywhere. Freedom and democacy are the possible positive outcomes from something so awful as a war.

What makes you so certain that other coutries will work with Kerry?

I think you misunderstand me. I recognize that freeing Iraq wasn't our reasoning for going to war in the first place. Our President had intelligence that indicated SH might possess wmd, he viewed him as a threat to our country. Freeing Iraq is a positive side effect.~Lisa

I bring it up to demonstrate that the war has some positive outcomes, it's not all gloom and doom pessimism that many Bush haters are peddling.

So now you are trying to speak for all Italians and Brits? Sorry that doesn't fly. You need something a bit more credible than "because I think so" to demonstrate such a point.~Lisa
