The GOP has consistently been trusted on most issues for months now, but in July

Ok, I'll bite....

You know what it proves to me??? The fickle nature of the American people. What would those results have been 28 months ago??? Probably an equally lopsided poll in the opposite direction.

What happened to these folks to make them shift to one side, when they obviously preferred the other less than 2 yrs ago?

You know what else it proves to me??? We dont like them as a whole(or should that be "a hole"?)

I personally think they all stink. Revolution looking more plausible all the time!

That I truly agree with. There's a scary number of voters that have an attention span of about 3 weeks and vote that way.

~Revolution looking more plausible all the time!~

What kind of a revolution do you think may come?

("What happened to these folks to make them shift to one side, when they obviously preferred the other less than 2 yrs ago?")

I'm thinking that these people wanted change, as promised by Obama. They wanted an end to out-of-control government spending. They wanted jobs, jobs, jobs.

Obama and his administration have done everything wrong as far as the American people are concerned.

He bailed out banks, America didn't want that.
He spent a TRILLION dollars on a stimulus (that didn't work), America didn't want that
He spent another TRILLION on "healthcare reform", America didn't want that.
He was slow to respond to the oil spill, America wanted quicker action than 3 months of uncontrolled oil spilling into the gulf.
He opens his mouth on issues he has no business opening his mouth on, and he has always been against the public opinion.
His polices are mostly expensive failures.
We still are broke (more broke than before), still unemployed (more unemployed than before) and there isn't even a silver lining on the horizon.

He is clearly out of touch with mainstream America. He doesn't have a clue.

He is, for sure, a one term President.

I'm sure if the Republicans get back in control, the revolution will be court dates, subpoenas', Senate hearings, a big "Army" will be deployed to dig up dirt on anyone with a "D" associated with their name.

(I'm sure if the Republicans get back in control, the revolution will be court dates, subpoenas'...)

Hopefully, for the likes of Maxine Waters and Charlie Rangel.

Your kidding right? I thought that was Pelosi's job. Wasn't she supposed to "clear the swamp"?

Oh wait....I forgot. That's the GOP swamp....she allows her fellow Democrats to be crooks and liars.

Such a double standard.

hey there's enough hypocrisy and double standards to go around - what ever happened with Ensign and Vitter?

"What kind of a revolution do you think may come?"

Whatever they get will not likely be what they want...history shows us that revolutions rarely give the results that their initiators expected.

Fortunately the framers of the Constitution made starting a revolution difficult in the way they formed the government...they wanted it to be a ponderous machine with a lot of inertia, so that we couldn't be governed by the evanescent whims of the foolish.
