OK my blood is pretty boiling here, democrats yet again, even in my own state, think they work for someone else.

But we also had the Clinton Era where nothing was done either so blaming Republicans or the oil people won't fly!

How do we pay for their gas?

The taxes we pay to the government pays their salary, I guess it was presumptuous of me to presume they used their salary to buy gas.

This situation about gas is more important than the environmental lobby.

People survived hundreds of years ago without cars

I was listening to some news show this afternoon and heard that Brazil runs their country on sugar cane.. I think it was Brazil. I think our problem is we have built our whole industry around oil.

We have depleted resources that should have lasted a long time.

There's oil here for us to drill for but that motion keeps getting blocked... it's not depleted.. the oil is there from what I understand. We aren't alone in consuming more oil.. China consumes a heck of a lot more than they ever used to and they don't give a flip about the environment. I believe they are now bigger polluters than we are.

I know there is oil out there I just question it being used.

I also just want to add about destroying our environment, a long time ago rivers were bathrooms, cesspools of grossness.
