Do you think that Obama rolled over on the tax cuts? Did he make a good or bad choice?

He rolled over, but it was probably necessary in order to assure that the economy continues on its slow mend and that unemployment benefits can continue for another year.

I agree with what you said except I don't think he "rolled over". He is FINALLY exhibiting some bipartisanship in his leadership. This is what he was elected to do.

Shouldn't it always be about what is best for the citizens, and not what one guy thinks? No matter who that guy is?

I think it should be about what is best for the citizenry, but the powers that be in politics don't think so.

Here is the problem then, everyone has a different opinion on what is better for the citizens.

Who are the powers that be in politics that don't think so? Or is it that they don't believe along the same lines as you?

IMO if we are going to extend unemployment again, why not continue with the bush tax cuts. What is good for the goose is good for the gander right?

So you are choosing not to find out, right? I cannot remeber if the yellow team is your choosing not to find out of if it's the green team. That is really cool and exciting. You picked out some really nice names : )

Ya we decided to not find out. We figure if baby is a boy, he can wear pink for the first couple of weeks. LOL I still have all of DD's stuff, and most isn't gender neutral. Thanks, both names mean something. Well Gideon means warrior which is fitting since DH is in the army. DH's first name is William. Willow is the only girl name that is like William that I like. And marie is mine and Carolynns middle name. Trust me, it was a long thought process.
