did you watch the Palin interview?
| Sat, 09-13-2008 - 6:03am |
I taped it and will finish it this morning. i know it was released in segments, but i wanted to see the whole thing with the introductions to get the context. i also wanted to see it without commentary from pundits.
of course i expect this community to view it through their own biases. but did you watch and how did you watch? in segments or the whole thing? with or without commentary?
and if you watched without commentary, what was your own opinion?

The more you listen to Sarah Palin, the more she sounds like a high schooler in an oratorical contest, repeating her speech over and over ad infinitum. Much form but no substance. Worse, when McCain is at her side, he looks like a ventroloquist and Palin looks like his dummy. What a combination to bury the US deeper in the hole dug by Bush/Cheney.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure
Did you know the interview was edited in a way that many of her answers were cut off after a sentence or two when she had much more to say?
i expected that. which is why 20/20 is not my favorite interview format.
pro for her: she got to rehearse. con for her: you don't hear the full answer. but I assume the basic content was shown, otherwise we would hear screaming from her camp.
i still don't feel like i saw the whole interview, however. but it's been a busy week and i haven't been back. then again, i'm still trying to watch Obama on OReilly LOL.

I hardly ever watch any of the interviews of any of them for this reason .... unless of course it's live.
one or two sentences doesn't equal 'a few sentences' or at least where I was taught math

Do you realize she had her choice of interviewer and format and she chose this one?
I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure
