I taped it and will finish it this morning. i know it was released in segments, but i wanted to see the whole thing with the introductions to get the context. i also wanted to see it without commentary from pundits.

of course i expect this community to view it through their own biases. but did you watch and how did you watch? in segments or the whole thing? with or without commentary?

and if you watched without commentary, what was your own opinion?

"as for the TR comparison ... well sure we know him NOW .. he's in the history books for goodness sakes!"
When Teddy Roosevelt was put on the ticket as VP, he was widely known to have had vast experience and to be an accomplished intellect and soldier. The comparison between Palin and TR is cute, but utterly meaningless.

Then maybe we should be comparing him to McCain?

"Then maybe we should be comparing him to McCain?"
I've lost track of the messages and the pronouns, but I think you're saying "maybe we should be comparing TR with McCain." Perhaps. It's certainly a closer comparison that to Palin. Although, frankly, I think TR's experience and intellect would be on par with a combination of McCain and Obama.

However, I think the intent of the original joke (I hope it was a joke) was to imply that, "Well, okay, so you think Palin is inexperienced, but TR over here was similarly inexperienced." And I'm fine with that as a joke, but we should be clear that it's a joke - because in fact TR had extensive experience and accomplishments under his belt.

It is very important that more than one reputable source says that Sarah should have known her party leader's philosophy and ideals. What else doesn't she know goes through my mind. I am independent, and so I have not sworn allegiance to a party, but Sarah is a registered republican- a governor - a VP nominee. The fact that she didn't know is very important.

Also, why didn't Sarah ask for more information? Instead she b.s.ed a senior journalist. I hate when people don't respect me enough to tell the truth and think that I won't be smart enough to catch them in a lie. That's how it looked like Sarah was doing to Charlie. Disrespecting his intelligence.

So, after all of that Charlie said this and Charlie did that, why did she regurgitate the same lines for Hannity that she said with Charlie? Where is her originality? Where is her spontaneity?

((For Palin, there is virtually nothing - and so, yes, people should be very interested in what she says.))

A huge red flag for the McCain camp is that Sarah is normally very outspoken, but now mums the word on certain topics. Either she purposely does not answer questions that show her polarized views from John himself, let alone mainstream Americans, or she talks in literal circles. That self censorship screams volumes that she's not genuine, not smart, secretive, and untrustworthy.
