Does It Seem Odd To You?

Do you think it's at all odd that the woman who screeches about the Fairness Doctrine will not allow lights and/or cameras in the House of Representatives?
I'm just sayin...

Dear lord, finish the rest of the speech. I believe it was "if need be". HUGE difference, and his premise hasn't changed : we'll stay as long as it takes to get the job done. McCain, unlike Obama, never set an artificial deadline. He's consistently said it would be based on the operation, not public opinion. The reason for the decrease is because *gasp!* the surge has worked (just like he believed it would).
Chill :) I wasn't laughing at *YOU*, I was laughing at the insanely low approval rating. I'll give you that your article is newer than mine, so it's entirely possible (although not probable) that it dropped 9 points in a few weeks time.
No doubt about it, whether by your numbers or mine, the Democratic Controlled Congress has a lower approval rating than Bush.
I don't disagree that both have changed directions on some of the issues but when McCain talked about staying in Iraq it had to do with *after* the war just like we do in a number of other countries where we've been in conflict.

"Bottom line: if they CARED about the citizens and this country...they would get their arses back to DC and vote up or down on drilling for domestic oil."
I think if they cared fo the citizens of the country (and I mean both the dems and reps) they would stop looking at ways to drill for oil, and start looking at ways to stop depending on oil. More oil is just a temporary fix for a much bigger, long-term problem.
I agree that it's a long term problem, but what do you propose we do in the meantime?
I don't think anyone is saying we should just drill here and stop looking for alternatives.
As far as I'm concerned there's a difference in "flip-flopping" and changing your mind on an issue once you've looked at all the aspects of it
No, it's not flip-flopping because McCain hasn't. Did you see my earlier post to that effect? Lemme paste it again:
