Let me explain something about the nature of civil and well-reasoned debate.

Listen, I believe I've already asked, but I don't think you've answered.

When Vinson declared the law unconstitutional, and said that there is no need for a stay because his ruling was the equivalent of an injunction, what do you believe is the current state of the law?

You seem to be promoting that since 2 judges let it stand, and 2 knocked it down, it's now at a tie and we need a tie breaker. Is that what you believe?

The decision and court process is common knowledge, are you asking for an explanation of what force the ruling of a federal court carries? You are not being very clear as to what you want, and are not even stating your side or the argument. It is difficult to debate someone that just strays away from the point.

I am in favor of same-sex marriage but I am opposed to what President Obama is doing, because I believe in both the separation of church and state AND I believe in separation of the executive, legislative and judicial branches.

I don't agree with what the President is doing at all.

I'm glad we're not making snarky remarks... still.

Vinson doesn't have the power to stop ACA for 26 states...

So, you believe, as I said before, that even though the states won the case and the government lost, it's still as if the government won. I believe those states no longer have to abide by the healthcare bill and the government must appeal to a higher court (it's not automatic, they can leave it be if they want) if they want the bill to remain in force. Let's see what happens.

Otherwise it is evident that his status and opinion are no greater than those of any other district judge.

Nobody said it is. They are on the same level. He is not over ruling those courts.
