Don't you think it would be a good idea to actually know what the minimum wage is, before you say it should be abolished? I doubt any of the people calling for the minimum wage to be abolished even knows what living off of $7.25 an hour would be like. If it was abolished, employers would be free to offer much less.

IMO.Before these people call for the end of something, they ought to live a day in the shoes of the people it would affect. :smileymad:

There is only one Federal rate. States can offer more, but not less.

It looks like some states have no minimum wage law and some states that are lower than the federal wage....
