You didn't answer my other question - what specifically offended you?

You know I have been thinking about it a little more and I do remember being bothered at times by his book.
Wait, I am confused.
As I stated I haven't read the book. Only excerpts. Patience

Okay, I will check back and
Oh no! Definitely. I wanted to get other people's thoughts. I'm going today to see if the library has it. I was bothered (keep in mind I've only read excerpts to sell the book) by the same things that you were. I also had a general sense that he didn't like white people much. But again, that's why I'm going to read the book.

I would love for someone to suggest this concept to Sen. Obama himself and see what he has to say about it. I imagine that he doesn't like his white mother, his white grandparents, or the white half of himself too much. If that's what you got from his words, I hope that you do read the rest of the book and with an open mind because I am sure that's not what he was getting at.
