This is a very well written post and I couldn't agree more. This whole issue isn't about access-it is about paying the bill. The GOP is not trying to keep women from birth control, it's trying to get people to see that the rest of us aren't responsible for someone else's personal choices.

Really? How about states that do not require motorcyclists to wear helmets, or skiers that don't, and so on? They get injured, the collective pool of insurance premiums pays medical bills.

This sort of law undermines the very essence of insurance, not to mention commerce in this country. If anyone can refuse anything to anyone, good luck with that.

They pay for the insurance. It's taken about a month to get back on my feet. I got crap from my in-laws because I was told I couldn't travel for Christmas & dh decided to stay at home with me (try cooking a dinner for 10 peoples when you can't stand for more then 20 minutes without getting light headed) I had to have my sister, dh & dd's come help with the cooking. It's been almost 2 months now & I still get light headed while I'm standing & the Dr has no ideal why

That's awful! Hope you're feeling better. Your dhs boss pays your healthcare or health ins? Sounds like a crappy boss if he offers to pay for something then yells about having to pay it....
