Just found this board again, thank goodness. Obviously I'm a little biased (lol), but hope everyone does go out and vote for whoever/whatever you truly believe in. The campaign season has been

hmmm I voted today and they never checked my ID nor asked me for my ID. They asked for my address, I gave it to them, they looked at their list and asked if I was Louise, I said no. They still have the previous owner listed as a voter who moved 5 years ago. I was listed at that address too but scary to think that someone could go in and vote more than once! Aren't they supposed to check your ID?

I found out in my state (CT) that they are legally required to check...will be notifying the secretary of state about this. i checked with one of my friends who is a registrar for a town here (and a Demorat so i'm not biased or have biased info, she knows darn well i am a Repub) it would be interesting to find out why some states require ID and others don't...as i said i could have voted several times today. I know the names of all the former residents that lived at this house. they are still registered here. it was pretty scary when she asked me if i was louise...my husband isn't even registered and he could have went and voted as Ken because
