How many of you have election fatigue? I have to be honest I have never paid as much attention to an elections as much as I have this one.I voted but barely paid attention to the 2000&2004 elections. I watch CNN, MSNBC, and Fox constantly. I check these two electoral maps daily http://www.pollster.com/ http://www.electoral-vote.com/
Electoral-vote.com: President, Senate, House Updated Daily
Pollster.com - Political Poll Trends, Charts and Analysis. I watch Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow everynight. In effect I have driven myself crazy by staying so tuned in. I early voted yesterday. I have seen and heard everything I need to know. Even a "surprise" wouldn't have changed my vote. This seems like the longest election in history.

I beg to differ. ;o) The worst someone could take from what Obama said was McCain is a Republican party-man however what one can (and many have, sadly) from what has been said from the McCain camp is that Obama is a terrorist sympathizer which is a BIG difference. Yes it is all subject to what you believe & personal opinion BUT I think bashing is a very harsh term for what Obama has done because McCain HAS in fact voted with Bush 90% of the time whereas Obama is NOT a terrorist sympathizer.

'Oh and Obama is not negative - PLEASE!! He is continually associating McCain with Bush. '

That was pretty random wasn't it?

Yes.
Why haven't we heard more about those seeking election in the national Congress? They are the ones that make up the laws or remove laws that are outdated, inefective or just plain not right or fair to the taxpayers. The president can speak to congress and ask for things he has promised during election or what his advisors suggest, but it is basically the Senators and Representatives who make the laws.
All the president can do is sign the bills after Congress has sent them to him/her. When signed by the president the bills are then supposed to go to the Supreme court to see if these bills are compatable with our constitution.

I am getting tired of it, but without it, we wouldn't have all of these great jokes about it! Hopefully the nation can at least laugh together...

I'm not really feeling fatigued, honestly. I've known who I was voting for, for a while now. I do get pretty tired of seeing McCain's dirty looks, and I get annoyed by Palin's "average Joe" talk. When she talks to her public that way I find it insulting, I have a pretty good vocabulary, she doesn't have to dumb it down for me.

Yay for you! I actually just received my absentee ballot and sent in my vote for Obama... it was a great feeling. I'm so tired of McCain's dirty looks, and Palin's
