Foster Family Loses Kids Over Political Beliefs

A foster family in England had their children removed because they were members of the UK Independence Party (it opposes the European Union and advocates for stricter enforcement of immigration laws).  A social worker visited after receiving a "tip," and told them that their views on immigration made them "unsuitable."  The couple had been fostering children for almost seven years.

Should a couple's political beliefs affect its suitibility to foster children?
