>>No they are not, but I should be able to turn on the TV without seeing it on every other channel! I guess I'm supposed to stay out of stores, not have tv, heck I can't even listen to the radio because some female singer is singing some song about kissing a girl!!! Yea you're right I'm stuck having to live in a sick society. Sure wish it was 1950 again and they were all back in the closet! Some things should stay the way they were. I sometimes wish I didn't have children so they wouldn't have to see what people have become.<<
Huh? You honestly believe you should be able to dictate what is available on television or the radio to your own personal liking? Feel perfectly free to do what most of us do, and choose what we allow our children exposure to. For me and mine, recognizing that everyone, including bigots, has a right to free expression, is an important lesson.
>>This is morally, biblically and bioligically wrong. Don't know why some people can't see that. And it's too bad the minority always gets what they want. The majority of people are still straight and normal, so why is it we can't have the country the way we want it? What ever happened to the majority rules?<<
Democracy doesn't mean "majority rules". The reason we have documents like our state and Federal Constitutions is so that the minority need not fear the majority. "keep it like we want" would have meant allowing people to own other people, denying women the right to vote....you cool with all that?? Because applying the constitution to laws made by people desperate to not allow "them" to have equal rights got you the right to vote, and removed slavery.
>>Thank god I live in a state that still believes that marriage is a man and woman. They can leave here and go get married in CA, but when they come back here, they won't be recognized as married, so it's a waste of their time.<<
How sad to feel so threatened by the marriage of someone else. What level of insecurity do you have to have to think the marriage of others harms you.
I will never understand peoples' fear and anger over another human being's lifestyle choice. We're all people, we are all entitled to love and respect. I don't think that just because you happen to be a man who loves a man, or a woman who loves a woman means that you're "sick" or "wrong" or "immoral". I think that people are born that way, and that it is NOTHING to be ashamed about. Love is love! Any God that I choose to believe in would never look at a person and judge them based not on their actions, or the live they've lived, but on their sexual preference. The God I believe in simply is not that shallow :)

I am not a mom yet (working on it, though!) so I don't know if I have a place here, but this subject caught my eye and I'd thought I'd give my $.02
I personally support marriage for EVERYONE. After all, marriage should be about LOVE, not gender.
I find the crap that the 700 club spouts out to be more offensive than a man kissing a man, or a woman singing about kissing another woman.
Hatred, bigotry, prejudice... That is what I find offensive. Not LOVE!

I am a conservative, given that, I see no reason how someone else's marriage or love life would affect my own.
