My what an impressive bit of entitlement you've got going.

You want to prevent gay couples from getting married but think it discrimination to allow them to have domestic partnerships benefits, and would fight to get them even though you CAN get them by getting married and they cannot. Unbelievable.

By the way? Domestic partnership benefits are available to those who register as domestic partners, one does not need to have a same sex partner. So you should be happy -- YOU get to have it both ways.

Really? So if someone said they shouldn't have to see blacks on TV or listing to black singers and it was so much nicer when those blacks were not out in public -- they'd just be offering their opinion?

If you say so.

>>This I do not believe, as far as I know it has never been proven that people are born that way. I believe people become gay, it is a choice.<<

A quick glance through recent medical literature would help here.

>>I believe people become gay, it is a choice. And for those people believe it isn't a choice, there are hormones they can take to help them be attracted to the correct sex.<<

ARE YOU KIDDING??

You think folks should be medicated to force them to live more like you want them to (even if you were accurate, which you are most certainly not).

I hope your daughter avoids "girls gone wild" also, but I MOST certainly hope she isn't gay. I know the increased suicide rates in gay teens whose parents have strongly anti-gay feelings -- they can't tell their folks, they are forced to live a lie by those they love most. Its tragic.

We fly this honking large rainbow flag out front, I don't think we are going to get many dissenters. Rose

Yes, I sure don't remember "choosing" to be hetero, it's just something you ARE!

The difference is you can get married to your boyfriend and then get on his insurance, why shouldn't they be able to do the same. It doesn't effect you, so why should you care. i have a bigger problem with two 17 y.o. of different genders getting married (legal in my state) than a couple of 40 year old men that have been living together for 15 years in a committed relationship.
