2008 will be here in the blink of an eye. If most of you are as busy as I am with 3 children et al., time does fly and before you know it, we will be voting again! I noticed one of your sig lines reading HILARY in 2008!.......I have learned to like her. In the begining, it was hard to relate to her because she basically put myself and other SAHM in an ignorant category with lack of respect written all over her. Then, trials happened while Bill CLinton was in office, and all I can say is the way she handled herself, as a public woman 150% of the time, remarkable.

But will we elect a woman for President before a respected african american like Colin Powell? I truly see him running for office one of these years and based on *his* credentials, I would vote for him over a woman any day........Thoughts?

I have alot of respect for Hillary and personally like her but I think she would be like raw meat to a pack of wolves that are waiting to rip her apart. She is too hated and because of that many people won't/don't even see the good things she has done, just focus on the things they don't like or don't approve of. Sadly I don't think this country is ready for a woman president either. Whether I would vote for her would be based on how she forms her campaign and the message she sends, I'm not sure I know what that would be at this point.

Like Colin Powell but not 100% on him either. I like him but he's not been the voice in this administration that I thought he'd be. Not sure....

I agree...Candidates are picked to pieces as it is, she would just die at the scrutiny.

I hope the dems run Hillary because there it will be a clear indication of them still not getting it.

I'd like to see a McCain/Powell ticket.....or even a Powell/McCain ticket.

Yeah, but McCain has already said numerous times that he won't be someone's VP since he gets more done where he is as a Senator.

And that's why I see a McCain/Powell ticket before seeing a Powell/McCain.
