The hyperbole and drama from the left leaves me speechless.
Tax hikes won't balance the budget, all they will do is take more out of the private sector and redistribute it. See the recently discovered tape of Obama saying he believes in redistribution. Not paying down the debt, but taking and giving to some other entity, and not always the needy. ( Hint cronies)

The guy lies so much, it's second nature to him. And that's his attitude. You build something, we will take it from you.

Last time I checked an impartial evaluation, the overwhelming amount of lying was coming from Romney.  And you don't build a damn thing by yourself.

Netanyahu doesn't "want" war, he wants to protect his country.

Focus?

How do you propose to balance the budget without additional revenue?

So, Obama adds around $1.5 trillion to the deficit every year, a huge increase, and then you ask how we are supposed to balance he budget without tax increases??? He just blew the budget to bits with spending! That is the problem. And where do you suppose we get an additional $$$trillion in taxes? Yeah, focus, to say the least.

Your small communIity is about as big as mine ;-).. The reality is that our economy is built by the people, A lot of consumer spending to boot. I find it esp interesting that people are still buying while jobs suffer. To Obama's credit, He will bail you out if you can't pay your debts!

Now that's not fair. Obama made a decision excoriated by the right, to help the auto industry. He didn't enrol auto employees and those in peripheral industries in TANF, he saved their jobs. It was a huge success.

If one looks at a chart of jobs lost and gained over the past five years, you will see Obama has done well. Mitt can't do better, he might do a whole lot worse, and at the same time destroy our safety net, eviscerate wages, make people wholly dependent on corporations, and that right there is a fools bet, because while the right claims it fears government, business can be every bit as evil if power is transferred into its hands.

We as a country erred by not bailing out homeowners three years ago. Big boo boo.

I'll give you one big one that is undisputable.

When he ran for governor or MA, he claimed to be a resident. 'Trust me," he said. "Trust us," his campaign said. Then the tax returns proved he claimed Utah his residence state, and he filed retroactively to switch it.

That was one big fat lie. Now he won't reveal his taxes. He asked Paul Ryan for ten years of tax returns, yet he doesn't think the voting public should see his returns. Well, don't run for president, because we should.

He's lied about welfare as well. Obama did not waive work requirements, he approved a waver for states to decide, and last I knew, the right was big on states deciding things.

Where did the deficit come from? Why is it there?

Actually... tax cuts contributed heavily to deficits. Taxes are at their lowest level in 60 years. And all this trickle down stuff - why, we've been doing the trickle down thing for three decades, and here we are, worried about jobs. It doesn't work.

There is income redistribution already through underpaid employees and overpriced products - guess who receives that money? Somehow that is okay. The left tries to equalise the power so that people are treated equitably and not bullied and forced to live in squallor despite hard work, or because of some other condition. The right can't see where its revenue sources and how in some cases it is built on exploitation.

Mitt on his strategy: “In a setting like this, a highly intellectual subject—discussion on a whole series of important topics typically doesn’t win elections,” he added.

Mitt on Hispanics: “If the Hispanic voting bloc becomes as committed to the Democrats as the African American voting block has in the past, why, we’re in trouble as a party and, I think, as a nation,” Romney said.

Mitt on his success: “I have inherited nothing,” he said. “There is a perception, ‘Oh, we were born with a silver spoon, he never had to earn anything and so forth.’ Frankly, I was born with a silver spoon, which is the greatest gift you can have: which is to get born in America.”
