someone vote for someone they do not like? I have heard and read many times people are voting for so and so even though they don't like him because they don't want the other person getting in.

I am not sure who I am voting for. Who knows I might just write someone in. I think that is the better option if you think both people are not qualified to be president.

We don't have write-in capabilities in Nevada.

This is how Hamas gained control in Palestine, by the way.

It's all a matter of sometimes choosing the "lesser of two evils".

Even if you don't "like" one candidate, you may "hate" the other candidate, or what he stands for.

I am talking about the people who just are voting because of the war but do not like Obama for any other reason. I feel that is important but I also feel there is much more to the war then we will ever know. I feel Obama doesn't know everything yet and who is to say he will be able to pull out the troops like he says.

I am still not sure who I am voting for.

I obviously can't speak for people who don't like Obama, but are going to vote for him because they don't agree with the war in Iraq.

locally, sometimes I will vote for a party member because he/she gives strength to the party's agenda - not because i "like" or even "know" the individual. I have broken that habit to vote for someone in another party i did "know" and "like" and who was not far off in their agenda.
